Hi. SO I exercised 2 times this week. I can't remember if I did any more than that. Which probably means I didn't. Not the best week.
Hay Hay is gone. Our motivator has left the state. DANG IT! We will all have to be accountable to ourselves and check in on the blog for sure now.
Spence and I are really going to try our best starting tomorrow. We can't handle being fat any more. And plus it does nothing good for our relationship because we don't feel good about ourselves. So we gave ourselves a goal. By October 1st (about 60 days) we are going to try to be at our goal weight. This means we will have to be on top of our game every single day. We don't just want to change our weight, but our lifestyles because if we don't change now, we will only get worse. And then in October we are going to run a 5k together:) I'm excited.
Anyways... CHALLENGE FOR THIS WEEK IS :::::::::::
"Not only to exercise, but to also try to eat 4-5 small meals throughout the day."
This is meant to help our metabolism speed up. Your day might look something like this...
Breakfast: Whole wheat toast or eggs or oatmeal.
Snack: Healthy smoothie or yogurt or fruit.
Lunch: Lean protein and veggies.
Snack: carrots or healthy smoothie / nuts
Dinner: Lots of Veggies and more protein (chicken, fish, etc)

Yea, the week is almost over. I walked 3 days, so not a complete loss, next week will be better. Dad says my but looks smaller, but I'm not too sure about that. Hey Everybody! This is mo-mo
Well.... I haven't been on here in a little while and this is unacceptable!
We need a new challenge and quick!
I think we are all wanting to be better at exercising so let's just do that.
Challenge this week. Get moving for at least 20 minutes... 3 times this week. (Hopefully 4 or 5)
Right now I'm on a kick with this new workout called Bodyrock. I want to keep doing this but also add in more cardio because it is mostly strength training. We need to be doing both!
Next week I have a great idea for a challenge. So stay tuned for that! Having to to with our eating habits.

News Flash!

Well, this past week has been not so great. Babysitting kind of got me off track with my walking. But I did walk Thur, Fri, Sat. so not a complete loss. I am glad to start again tomorrow! Hopefully we will all have good reports! Love, Mom

Sorry (Hay)
Sorry this is such a late check in... I feel like I have been out of the country, but really I have been living in a large crevice in the ground for the last 3 days. That is right I went to Havasupai!! It was sooo much fun!! I could have stayed a week down there because I love it so much. There were 13 in my group and it was a blast. There were supposed to be more but people kept bailing.. oh well. Anywho, last week I did really well! I did not eat sugars or carbs up until Sunday (with the exception of a few carb items of food that I ate). And I exercised at least once a day, but most of the days I exercised twice a day. It was great. My havasupai trip consisted of probably around 30 miles of hiking and I definitely have blisters to show for it! All in all however, it was an amazing week and a half! I am going to recover the rest of this week and try to heal my blisters so I can get back at it come monday :) love you all byeeee

Hello out there!

Well, no one checked in on Sunday so here is my check in. Last week I did good. I walked, I ate better than normal and I actually thought about what I was eating. So far this week, not good. No walking yet because of babysitting and I haven't eaten much better. I got taken off my system I had going for me. Anyway, I hope to be back on it tomorrow. Good Luck all! Love, Mom

running
Hey YA'LL !! well i'm super motivated right now and I'm loving it! I went running yesterday and today! Haven't run in a while so I feel great!
Now I just need to home in on the eating... That is the hardest part. (Especially because I got an email for a free cupcake at Sprinkles and the flavor... the new "salty caramel"!!!!!!! AHHHHHH)
anywhooo... let's keep in up and maybe someday we will all look as skinny winny and cute as this stink bug!

Today was Hard!

I forgot... AGAIN :( (Hay)
I forgot to check in on Sunday gosh... Well here I am checking in. Last week was awesome.. except I did not follow through with the healthy eating. I failed that one. So this week I decided to actually follow through and kick it into gear. So far this week I have not eaten any sugar and I have had no starches/carbs. I have had not too bad of a time with it thus far except it was difficult to not eat texas roadhouse rolls last night :( It was VERY difficult today to come home to mom making her famous cinnamon rolls :(

HOWEVERRRR, I have not given in to the temptations that are before me. Havasupai is less than a week away and I want to look good! Therefore, I have been hiking/running down thumb butte, running peavine, and biking everyday. Hopefully this works! Good luck this week all ya'lls.

Hi all, well, it's been another pretty good week for me. I did miss walking on Thursday when I was in the valley with Terri and Grandma, But overall it was a good week.

Family
Lisa get on here and post something alreadyy. GOSH!
Ok, So this week has been non stop with the Costley Family. It is so fun when we have a wedding or reunions because seriously SO MANY people come. Julie and Shane are hosting 4 couples and g-ma at their house and rachel and gavin have about the same amount. Then some people got hotels. So spencer, grettta and i have been loving this week.
Spencer said last night "its so sad come monday and everyone will be gone. I guess that is what we have to look forward to in Eternal Life... We will always be together having fun times :)"
I really like that thought and I am so glad we have family.
This doesn't have to do with being skinnier. But it does have to do with living a happy life. Let's all be grateful for family and make the most of the time we get to spend together.

Happy 4th! (Hay)
This past week was great! I exercised everyday except the day we travelled home. California was fun I wish we could have stayed longer! I miss running on the boardwalk already haha. This next week I want to exercise everyday and eat healthy starting Tuesday haha. I think the challenge for this week should be do something out of the ordinary, do something to "cross-train" or to work different muscles than usual. I kind of already did this today by hiking thumb butte with Bart, Lisa, Maddie, and Chris. However, I want to do more than this, so maybe I will swim laps one morning or do sprints or weight train or something. Anywho, happy 4th everyone and I am excited that we are all together for it! Vacation Ends!


Hi all, well our vacation is over and I'm sad. Wish we could have just planned it for a full week. Anyway, my check in is early, but just have to say "I am proud of me". I have walked every day, including this morning 2 miles. My new "Boardwalk" is a dirt road and my new ocean is an old bird reservoir lake, oh WEll, can't have everything!
